Where the parts come from
We buy used LEGO® elements in bulk from the second-hand market, then sort them into the heads, hair, bodies, legs and bricks you see in the designer. Nothing is manufactured by us and nothing is a copy — these are the same parts that came out of LEGO® sets, given a second life.
Because the supply is second-hand, the exact shade or mould year of a part can vary slightly between orders. If you order two sets months apart, a “red” body from one batch may not be a perfect match for the other.
How they are cleaned
Every element is machine-washed before it reaches the assembly bench. Parts arrive from the second-hand market as they are — from homes, collections and bulk lots — so washing is the first step, not an optional one.
Once washed and dried, the parts are sorted and the figures are assembled by hand, one order at a time.
How your names get onto them
The names on the figures and the message on the base brick are printed by us, directly onto the parts. They are not stickers and they do not peel. This printing is what “altered from their original form” means in our disclaimer — the element is genuine LEGO®, but it no longer looks the way it left the factory.
This is also why we are not, and cannot claim to be, an official LEGO® product. We are repackaging and altering genuine elements and telling you plainly that is what we are doing.
What you are not getting
You are not getting a sealed LEGO® box, an instruction booklet, or anything licensed by or affiliated with the LEGO Group. You are not getting brand-new elements. If what you want is a factory-fresh official set, buy one from LEGO® — we would rather tell you that now than have you disappointed when the parcel arrives.
What you are getting is a hand-assembled keepsake made from real LEGO® parts, printed with your own words, that does not exist anywhere else.
Why pre-owned is the point, not a compromise
Not every “custom brick figure” sold online is made from LEGO® elements — plenty are third-party bricks with a photo printed on them. If that matters to you, it is worth asking any seller what their parts actually are.
Re-using elements also means no new plastic is moulded for your gift. The parts have already existed for years, and after we print them they will keep existing for many more.

Questions we get asked
Are these official LEGO® products?+
No. We hand-assemble each set from re-used genuine LEGO® elements that we repackage and alter from their original form. This is not a LEGO® Product. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this product.
Are the parts new or used?+
Used. We buy genuine LEGO® elements second-hand and machine-wash every part before assembly. They are cleaned and sorted, but they are pre-owned rather than factory-new.
Will the figures fit with my own LEGO® collection?+
Yes — they are genuine LEGO® elements, so they clutch and connect exactly like the rest of your collection, because they are the rest of your collection's parts.
Is the printing permanent?+
The names and the brick message are printed onto the parts themselves rather than applied as stickers, so there is nothing to peel off at the edges.
Can I ask for brand-new parts instead?+
No — our whole supply is second-hand genuine LEGO® elements, so every order is built from pre-owned parts.
